1. Eligibility of Application:

(1) In good health condition, in accordance with the Health Standard for International Students stipulated by the Ministry of Education, China.

(2) Good moral character and discipline towards the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the university.

(3) Good English or Chinese language proficiency.

(4) Certificate from highest education attained.

2. Procedures of Application

(1) On-line Application (The on-line application system, namely http://ujs.admissions.cn/, is fast and convenient, and strongly recommended.)

Step 1: Register to be a user

Step 2: Fill out the application form and upload all required documents as follows:

A.  A passport photo;                         B. Copy of passport (the photo page);

C. Copy of your final degree transcript;           D. Copy of your final degree certificate;

E. English language proficiency certificate (non-English speaking countries);

F. Family financial statement;                G. Research proposal (Master and PhD only);

H. 2 recommendation letters (Master and PhD only).

Step 3: Check the admission status & receive admission notice

Step 4: Confirm your admission and pay the application fee (400 Yuan) and seat fee (2,000 Yuan, which is not refundable and will be treated as part of tuition when you register) on-line. Master and PhD applicants pay 400 Yuan only. Any cards with symbols of VisaMasterCardAmerican Express are available.

Step 5: Original documents, like admission notice and visa application form (JW202 or JW201) will be sent to you by posting (EMS or DHL).

Step 6: Apply for visa and send us your arrival information.
